Hey first off I'd like to say thank you for making D2 playable again. I've run into a bit of a problem. I have D2SE installed and I can run every version of the game in Glide, except version 1.13c. Every time I want to start it nothing happens at all. If I click 'Start D2' there are some strange letters in the upper left corner of the screen but nothing happens until I terminate the process.

As I said, I can run every other version of the game and have played those without issue. I would not mind playing on 1.12a but I wanted to try out Median and as far as I know ver 1.13c is a prerequisite for that. I Installed Median to the mod folder and as expected, I would not run but show the exact same behavior as when I try to start the Plugin in ver 1.13c.
Do you guys have any ideas what might be the problem? Cheers, Perks. The installer is for version 1.12.
Fwsim keygen youtube. Atm i didn't have found a 1.13c/d installer i could include so u have to patch the 1.12 installer to 1.13d via the patch from the link above. Thats the only way for now until Seltsamuel got the fix for 1.14. Edit: after u installed Diablo via the Installer don't start the game. As soon as u join Battle.net u have 1.14 (on normal internet speed i take less then 2 seconds to get that update). If the patcher doesn't work it looks like u have 1.14 installed. if u have 1.12 and the patcher doesn't work, try to search for 'Diablo 2 LOD 1.13c Patch' (or 1.13d, both work). Oh great, thanks again!
I've extracted the contents of the ultimativexvi.1.zip in a folder called Median in the Mods folder of the Diablo II directory. I basically followed this guide except for the BorderlessGaming part, because I prefer to play just as is at the moment. When I launch D2SE Meridian shows up as an option, but when I try to launch it nothing happens. I see the D2SE running as a process in the Task Manager though.
Changing settings doesn't make a difference. Maybe an important part of information: I cannot start Original Diablo II (clicking on Start D2 in D2SE), because it just ends up as a non responding process in the Task manager.
I can, however, start any patch version via the D2SE plugin. Any Ideas where to start?
Are u going to play Median in SP? Multires isn't allowed on Realm there. Therefore, for SP change the Version in D2SESetup.ini to 1.12a since Multires is for 1.12a. If u trying to use it on Realm, u have to search for the fixed 1.13c Multires plugin, i won't post it here. Edit: Where u got that Plugy.ini from? In the original Patch, it is located into de PatchD2.mpq.
Maybe u have some trouble with that. Did u tried to disable Plugy? Also use compatibility modus for Win XP/ Win 7 if u are using Win8 or higher. I'm trying to play offline. The contents of my D2SESETUP in the Mod folder look like this D2SE CreatedFor=2.2.0 USERSETTINGS Renderer=3 WindowMode=0 EnableHC=1 EnablePlugY=1 Language=MOD SkiptoBNet=0 NoSound=0 Protected D2Core=1.12a ModName=Median XL Ultimative ModTitle=by MarcoNecroX & Brother Laz ModMajorVersion=XVI ModMinorVersion= ModBanner=D2SEXVI.bmp ModBoard=ModAllowHC=1 ModAllowSPFeature=1 ModAllowPlugY=1 ModUsePatchD2=1 RealmGateway=37.221.195.51 RealmTimezone=2 RealmGatewayName=The Sin War RealmSelected=The Sin War RealmPort=4000 END-Protected END endoffile=4711 It came with the Mod. I changed the line D2Core=1.13c to 1.12a and it started and I even could create a character. Then in crashed during the loading screen with: Location:, line#139 Expression: Unrecoverable internal error 06e0d3e7 If I disable PlugY it seems to work now.
Do I miss out when playing without PlugY? I cannot see the difference really, aside from not being able to use Multires. P.S.: the PlugY.ini was included in a.rar file, recommended in this guide: (see step 3bis). Thanks so far. It helped out a lot.
At least it is playable. Although I have to say Median seems to be pretty overwhelming at first.
The downloaded 'patch' should consist of 4 files:. D2MultiRes.txt. D2MultiResGame.exe. D2MultiRes.dll. D2MultiRes.mpq To install, simply copy D2MultiResGame.exe, D2MultiRes.dll and D2MultiRes.mpq to your Diablo II directory. You do not need to copy over or replace any of your files, and none of your files will be changed.
At the moment, D2MultiRes only supports the GDI (windowed mode) and DirectDraw graphics plugins. If you are using Glide you'll almost certainly crash.
If you're using Direct3D you'll be able to run Diablo II, but expect to see some funky graphic glitches while playing the game. To switch to DirectDraw, run D2VidTst.exe (found in your Diablo II directory) and choose the DirectDraw option. You shouldn't notice any major drawbacks for using DirectDraw over Direct3D, so for most users this probably won't be a problem. To run, start D2MultiResGame.exe. You may use any of the normal command line options available when playing Diablo II, such as '-w' for windowed or '-direct -txt' for mods. Diablo II will start in its normal resolution, however when playing a game you will be able to switch to a new, higher resolution. To do so, just go to the Video Options menu and select the Resolution menu item.
This will bring up a new panel that will list your available resolutions. Click the one you wish to play in and Diablo II will switch to that resolution. Well I got the download.but It doesn't seem to work.every time I try and run it in directdraw (like the read me says) it never starts, and when I booted it up in compatibility mode it gave me weird errors. So I said screw it, Ill deal with it tomorrow, and reverted everything back to normal and now I'm missing a character, and I'm a lot worse than I used to be.
Don't ask me how it happened, but now I'm level 6, and one of my characters is gone. If if were to guess, I would say something went wrong when changing the compatibility mode, and it may be reading a previous save, or no save at all.
Or maybe it doesn't work with windows 7. Hye everybody, I have the big problem with the dll message.
I tried to use this patch but without any luck because, all i have tried give the same error message: 'Unable to load D2MultiRes.dll' 1) First, i re-install the game in this way: Diablo2/lod/patch 1.12/multires. 2) My second search was on a post but i cannot include the url because i haven't been registered for 7 days. Anyway,I install the package C 2005 redistributable. Doesn't change anything 3) So, I install the 2008 C redistributable just in case there was some tools missing in versionning. Doesn't work. 4) I tried 2008 redistributable SP1. 5) I'm using 'filemon' to inspect the behavior of d2multires.exe.
It seems d2multireslog.txt is missing because d2multires.exe encounters a sort of 'buffer overflow' when loaded. At this time, i have empty all ressources in the net so if someone could help, i will be grateful. My config: Windows XP SP2 AMD64 X2 (+3800) Winfast A400 tdh (geforce 6800) 4Gb memory Matrox TripleHead2go with 3 LCD. Diablo 2 and lod in version english.
Kudos to the creator(s) for a great mod! Is there a way to get this to run with PlugY? It works fine on my computer, but I think it's because (for some reason) I don't have to use the PlugY executable to play D2 with the huge stash - I can just use the normal D2 executable.
I'm not entirely sure what I did, as I installed PlugY normally, and then MultiRes normally. Anyway, a quick response would be greatly appreciated, as my friend and I want to play with both PlugY and MultiRes enabled. On a side note, however: @uzisniper There are warnings all over the internet not to use this mod on bnet, and it's just common sense NOT to use a mod on bnet at all. You should be thanking yourself for your lack of said sense, not the mod creator.

Diablo 2 Multires Download
^ for classic ^ for expansion click the Direct Download Link right beneath the big green 'Download Now' button. I just bought another copy about a week ago and have been playing it again. I 'gave away' my copies in 2004 since all my time was going towards World of Warcraft at the time. Who knew 10 years later i'd want to play Diablo II again.
